Prevent Seasonal Flu

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the best way to protect yourself against seasonal flu is to get a flu vaccine every year. Healthy habits can also help protect you against the virus.

Take these steps to help stop the spread of germs.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. 
  • Stay home if you are ill.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. 
  • Wash your hands to protect yourself from germs. 
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Get plenty of sleep, exercise, manage your stress, drink plenty of water and eat more fruits and vegetables.
